Domestic Violence
Domestic violence is one of the key contributing factors to child abuse, homelessness and crime on the streets. This will be a regular feature providing addresses and telephone numbers of organizations that exist to help victims of domestic violence.
There will be a series of interviews with professionals in the field and how they work with people to help them face the problem of violence in the home.
Story features will focus on people who have successfully dealt with abuse or violence and who can provide inspiration and hope to others who may be in a similar situation.
The Lookout aims to provide practical, honest information for those in need and those who wish to help.
We will be putting out newsletters over the next few months, keeping you updated with our program. Newsletters will continue after the magazine is in circulation.
Contributions to The Lookout can be made by way of membership or donation of funds, equipment or materials. The community at large is invited to comment, forward suggestions and ideas, or to submit articles of interest to our members and readers.
